ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS MAINTENANCE

Our electrical engineering division offers a full range of tests that keep client electrical distribution systems operating at maximum efficiency. Unity offers a comprehensive electrical maintenance program, which includes lighting and lamp maintenance, switchboard maintenance, HVAC troubleshooting and motor maintenance and repair. Our skilled, uniformed labor force provides expert 24-hour service in response to client needs. We perform the following services:
- Maintenance and operation of emergency generators
- Preventive maintenance and repairs of UPS systems
- Preventive maintenance of all power conditioners
- Preventive maintenance of all automatic transfer switches with microprocessors
- Preventive maintenance and repair of power panels,
transformers and switchgear - Preventive maintenance and repair of fire alarm systems
- Infrared scanning of electrical panels and equipment by removing covers, trim, etc. and scanning all connections and bussways for hot spots
- Electrical demolition of floors under construction by removing all electrical, telephone and data cables from floor cells, troughs, ceilings and closets. Removal of all conduits, cable trays, etc.
- Relocation of all high tension and low tension lines including voice and data cables
- Set up of temporary power and lighting for meetings, video
shoots, coffee services, etc. Stand by and breakdown as needed - Set up of temporary power for ongoing construction as needed
- Preventive maintenance and repairs of all electrically operated kitchen equipment
- Building maintenance of all lighting fixtures and equipment
including daily checks for lights out on various floors - Maintenance and service of equipment in the stress fitness lab such as treadmills, saunas and all electrically operated equipment
- Maintenance of all solid state motor controls and variable
speed drives - Monthly meter readings
- Monthly equipment inspections
- Inspection of all prints for upcoming jobs to ensure building specifications
- Installation of all electrical building decorations such as Holiday lights, etc.
- Scheduling of building shutdowns and P.M. equipment as needed during electrical shutdown
- Preventive maintenance and repair of all card access equipment and their related environment such as follows:
- Access system on line and degraded operations
- Fire system interface
- Door alignment, closing, locking mechanisms
- Security violations
- Communication lines between the host computer and sub host - All security electrical problems are repaired as they are found
- Maintenance on video cameras, pan tilt devices and controllers, multiplexers, recorders, fiber transmission systems and monitors
- Assistance as needed in maintaining systems software and make all changes required in the shutting down of the computer(s)
- On call after hours for any emergencies
