Our deep understanding of Chase's facilities, technologies, and organizational systems enable us to provide complete project cycle management. We design, coordinate and implement sophisticated, multi-faceted installations, upgrades, restacks and retrofits -- often within demanding timeframes.

Here is a sample of two of the turnkey solutions that we have provided for Chase.

Metro-Tech Center, Brooklyn, NY

• Challenge: Create new data center headquarters for all Chase banking operations in Northeast region.
  
  
• Unity's response: Unity coordinated all services, including electrical, structured cabling, security, and IT consulting services to provide a turnkey solution that met Chase specifications and deadlines.
  
  
• Result: All work completed and systems on-line and tested in less than five months.

  Electrical Services -- Unity provided core and shell electrical for nine stories of new construction, three 4000AMP servers, one three-module UPS system, two 1500 KW generator sets and emergency power distribution.

  Cabling Services -- Unity installed over 2000 miles of horizontal cabling for 12,500 stations on over 40 floors. On any given day, this effort required over 100 electricians.

  Security Services -- Unity provided security for 40 floors including 340 card readers for lobby turnstiles, individual floors and targeted high resource areas, access control monitors, alarms, intercom systems and video motion detectors.

  Consulting Services -- Unity provided design and coordination for the complex relocation of 8000 workstations, including supervision of electricians, moving companies and all related trades.
  

London Wall/Vinters Place, London

• Challenge: A major facilities and technology reorganization required by Chase's due to merger.
  
  
• Unity's Response: Unity provided comprehensive installation of electrical, structured cabling and IT consulting services.
  
  
• Results: A fast-track project involving two complex trading floors at two separate locations.

  Electrical Services -- Unity provided installation of new generator and UPS systems, clean and dirty power, floor lighting, under floor power, fire security and BMS services along withthe installation of all power to the two communications rooms.

  Structured Cabling -- Chase selected Unity to install an AT&T Systemax cabling system to over 800 trading and support positions. At completion one building had in excess of 1000 KM of fiber and copper cable, with approximately 90,000 copper terminations and over 38,000 multi-mode fiber connections. Unity installed electrical and structured cabling to an additional 400 trading positions at another London location as well.

  IT Consulting -- Unity provided Market Data Consultants to coordinate the installation and integration of market data services and trading applications to all desktops on the new trading floors.
